Why does the vulcanized strip transfer label not come off cleanly?

In the production process of rubber hoses, the vulcanized strip transfer label "is not cleanly released", and the produced hose is unqualified. Many hose factories mistakenly think it is an operational problem. In fact, 90% of the problems are related to materials and process matching or improper label structure design.
Combining 20 years of experience in the rubber hose vulcanization label production industry, we have summarized three core reasons:
1. Insufficient performance of the release layer
The vulcanized label is vulcanized together with the rubber under high temperature and pressure, and then completely transferred to the surface of the hose. If the release coating on the label backing paper or film surface has poor temperature resistance or is unevenly coated, it will fail at high temperatures, causing the label to adhere to the mold or release film and unable to be peeled off cleanly. We use imported high-stability release films to ensure clean demoulding without residue even under extreme working conditions.

2. Cross-linking reaction between ink or adhesive layer and rubber
Some vulcanized label manufacturers use cheap ink, and the low-priced ink contains active ingredients that chemically cross-link with the sulfur or accelerator in the rubber during the vulcanization process, causing the label to be "welded" to the hose, and the pattern will break when it is forcibly peeled off. We use imported inks with optimized formulas that remain chemically inert under high temperatures. They only adhere but do not react, ensuring complete transfer.
3. The label structure does not match the vulcanization process
For example: using too thick a substrate, not considering the curvature of the hose, or improper labeling tension will lead to local stress concentration and tearing during demolding. We customize the label thickness and flexibility according to the customer's hose type (braided/wound), vulcanization tank pressure, demoulding method, etc., and provide free sample testing.
✅ The solution is simple: choose a vulcanization label factory that understands the rubber vulcanization process. We insist on 100% full inspection, use imported film materials + special inks, and support free sample verification to ensure that every demoulding is clean and neat.
